Privacy policy

AvA for LinkedIn has one purpose: to let you save the LinkedIn people and companies you are looking at into your own AvA account (Find Customers), write a note for you to send, and record the messages you send and receive there, so they appear in your Outreach Inbox.

• From the LinkedIn page you have open, when you open the AvA panel (and on each page you move to while you keep it open): on a profile, the person's name, headline, company, location and the page's address; on a company page, its name, website, industry, size, location and address; in a conversation, the other person's name and profile address. The address is sent to AvA to check whether you already have them; the rest only when you press Save, after you have seen and can edit every field. Nothing is read from pages you have not opened, and the extension never opens pages by itself.
• The text of a note or message you send, only when you press I sent it.
• The last message from a person in an open LinkedIn conversation, when you press Log their reply. You see it, and can change it, before it is saved.

It does not read your browsing history, other websites, your LinkedIn password, your contacts list or your feed.

What you save or log is sent over HTTPS to AvA (avaai.pathor.in) and stored in your AvA account, under the same access rules as everything else in it. When you press Write it for me, AvA's servers send the saved person's name, headline, role, company and location, and what your account says it sells, to OpenAI, the AI provider AvA uses, only to write that note. Nothing else is shared with anybody, sold, or used for advertising.

In the extension's own storage in your browser: the sign-in token that connects it to your AvA account (with the account name and email it shows you), the date you agreed to its terms, and, for up to 15 minutes while you connect, a one-time code that checks the AvA page handing over the token is the one it opened. Disconnecting (in the extension, or under Profile → Security in AvA Console) ends the token.

It never sends, connects, likes, follows or clicks anything on LinkedIn. You press LinkedIn's own buttons, Send included.

Saved people and logged messages are part of your AvA account and are kept for as long as the account's Privacy & Retention settings say. You can delete them from Find Customers, and an account owner can have a person's data erased from their contact page.
